Job Summary:
The Intermediate Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting the technology systems used by our architecture firm, which includes approximately 200 employees and 3 office locations. They will work closely with our IT team and other stakeholders to ensure that our technology systems are reliable, secure, and meet the needs of the organization.The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience working with technology systems in a similar organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the technology systems used by our architecture firm, including hardware, software, and networking infrastructure
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements
- Develop and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff as required
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology-related products and services
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to technology systems
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our technology systems
- Communicate technology-related information to stakeholders, including management, staff, and clients
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of technology systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar systems analyst role
- Strong technical skills, including experience with networking, hardware, and software systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professionalism, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to technology systems
